PRACTICES FOR CUT-OFF WHEELS AND GRINDING WHEELS
THE PROPER UTILIZATION OF INDUSTRIAL CUT-OFF WHEELS AND
GRINDING WHEELS REQUIRES STRICT OBSERVANCE OF THE
FOLLOWING SAFE PRACTICES:
1) ALWAYS WEAR EYE, FACE AND BODY PROTECTION.
2) USE A WHEEL WITH THE PROPER HOLE SIZE TO FIT FREELY
ON THE SPINDLE, DO NOT FORCE IT.
3) BLOTTERS, WHEN USED, SHOULD BE SLIGHTLY LARGER THAN
THE FLANGES.
4) FLANGES SHOULD BE AT LEAST ONE QUARTER THE DIAMETER
OF THE WHEEL.
5) ALWAYS MAKE SURE THE WHEEL GUARD IS IN PLACE AND THE
COVER TIGHTLY CLOSED BEFORE USING MACHINE.
6) NEVER EXCEED THE MAXIMUM SPECIFIED SPEED FOR THE
WHEEL.
7) THE WHEEL MUST BE BROUGHT INTO CONTACT WITH THE WORK
CAREFULLY, WITHOUT BUMPING.

OF ALL TYPES AND SIZES. PRICES ARE F.O.B., POINT OF
SHIPMENT. FOR SINGLE ORDERS HAVING AN INVOICE VALUE OF
$1,200 OR MORE, TRANSPORTATION CHARGES WILL BE ALLOWED
AND PREPAID VIA LOWEST COST ROUTING TO DESTINATION
